6th graders at WOMS have been invited to post guest entries on my blog for YA books they’ve recently read. This is Alex’s entry. Thanks, Alex!
The Battle of the Labyrinth
Rick Riordan
Hyperior books for children,361pg.
Percy Jackson the son of Posidon is strong, courageous, and cunning.
He will need to be all of this and more to help his best friends Grover,
Annabeth and Tyson through their action packed adventure.
Percy, Grover, Annabeth and Tyson have all been given the same quest.
This quest will take them to an ancient maze called The Labyrinth.
During the capture of the flag Percy and Annabeth accidentally fall
through a hole. Percy and his friends may not be strong enough for what
happens next. Now you will have to read this book to find out!
Percy's exciting life is what I liked best about the book. I also really enjoyed
the action and adventure of the book, and that it had mythology.
I think this is a book for everyone from kids to adults that enjoy reading a
book with action, adventure and mythology.
