Searching for David’s Heart
By Cherie Bennett 220pg
Published by Scholastic Inc.
Darcy is a girl with love and joy and the one she loves the most is her older brother David. Butt that all changes when he gets a new girlfriend. Darcy thinks that he hates her and loves his girlfriend. That’s when the big fight between them begins. She runs away and her brother is chasing after her and gets hit by a car and dies.
She thinks him dieing is all her fault. Her parents decide to donate David’s heart to transplant. That’s when her and her best friend Sam decide to go searching for his heart. Because she believes that if she finds his heart even if it is in someone else’s body she will still have him.
What I like best about this book is the love that everyone has. And the joy that keeps the book going. This book is an amazing book. If you enjoy sad books but happy endings then this is definitely the book for you.
