6th graders at WOMS have been invited to post guest entries on my blog for YA books they’ve recently read. This is Kylie’s entry. Thanks, Kylie!
Twilight Stephanie Meyer Little, Brown Company, 480 p. A girl named Bella Swan moved from Arizona to Washington to live with her dad in a city named Forks because her mom remarried a guy named Phil and Phil plays baseball so they have to travel a lot. Bella has to go to a new school in the middle of the school year. Her first day of school she made a lot of new friends including Edward Cullen. She thought there was something wrong with Edward because he did not talk to her and his eyes changed color. The next few days Bella wanted to go talk to Edward to see what was wrong but he never showed. When he came back he introduced himself to Bella and they got to talking then Bella said that they should hang out sometime. Then the next day of school Bella was standing by her car on one side of the parking lot and Edward was one the other end. Then suddenly a car came rushing down the hill right by Bella. Edward suddenly run to Bella and stopped the van with his hand. Every one came rushing over to Bella. I was grateful as a reader for the fact that Edward saved Bella’s life. I would highly recommend this book to people who like adventure books and people who like love stories. Submitted by Kylie N.
